Totals for the range; a day for everyone, and per active driver (each day’s active drivers added up). Feature counts started on Oct 6, 2026; Orbit searches on Oct 14, 2026 (the app sends them about once a minute).

Orbit miles
Every 15 minutes Orbit checks how miles are being earned. Anything gained too fast lands here with the entries behind it. Looks fine closes it; Take back removes those miles from the driver’s total (it shows as a “taken back” entry).

Rules: over 250 driving miles in 3 hours or 900 in a day; over 40 “Still there?” answers or 15 confirmations a day; gas prices from stations farther apart than 150 km/h allows; a day over 400 miles and 6× their usual.
Cost vs subscriptions
A month of running Orbit (the fixed costs below plus paid data at this month’s pace) against what paying subscribers bring in after Apple’s cut. Subscribers are App Store purchases, not sandbox tests.

Note
Orbit Order fees
Orbit's share of every Orbit Order: the driver's Interstellar fee plus the store's 5%. "Through Square" already reached Orbit with the order; "Owed" is billed on the store's monthly statement, emailed on the 1st (9 am Detroit) to whoever signed its partner terms, due in 30 days. Test stores' statements go to support@orbitsi.app only. Mark a statement paid when the money arrives.

Businesses (pins)
Sign-ups from orbitsi.app/business. Check the logo (theirs to use), the offer (truthful, no links, nothing unsafe) and the location, then Approve: a paid one goes live at once. Reject one that isn't right (a note says why; if they paid, their subscription ends at once and they're refunded in full), Pause a live one (Unpause brings it back). Move / edit opens a map: drag the pin to the business's door (Satellite helps) and change its offer; only you can move pins, businesses choose by listing or address. Stripe opens the subscription. Views, taps and stops are the last 30 days.

Orbit Brands (11+ locations)
Brands from orbitsi.app/business/brands add their own locations (picked from Orbit's map, or exact address matches) and submit them. Check the list (Locations, or their list as they see it: each spot on a map, and stretches already full are left out), then Approve & send quote: the price is worked out (15% off 11-49, 25% off 50+, 12 months, 2 months to leave early) and emailed with their private quote link, where they sign and pay. When they pay, every location becomes a pin waiting for review above. Agreement shows what they signed. Re-match re-runs the address matching if needed. After a brand pays, Reject on one of its pins (above) takes that location off its bill (the rest of the month credited, its discount and term kept), emails them, and lets them add a replacement, billed once you approve it; Changes lists all of it.

Signed agreements
Every Business Placement and Orbit Brands agreement signed and paid for, kept exactly as the business received it (the text, their Order, the signature: who, when, from where). Kept for good: they can't be changed or deleted. Open shows it; Emailed says whether the copy reached the signer and support@orbitsi.app. Search by business, name or email.

Places drivers reported
“Wrong place?” on a place card: not there, somewhere else, or the wrong name. Three drivers saying it’s gone hide it from search by themselves; here you confirm (Hide) or put it back (Keep). Open the map to check where it is.

Orbit traffic
Orbit’s own traffic, from drivers’ anonymous speeds (no account, never the start or end of a drive). A road is trusted live once 3 different cars passed in the last 12 minutes; its usual speed by weekday, Saturday and Sunday in 15-minute slots builds nightly, for warnings before a drive.
Speeds collected a day
Coverage: how close each metro is to Orbit's own traffic
Each metro's main roads (freeways, highways, main and secondary roads), in miles of road each way. Any data: driven by an Orbit driver in the last 5 weeks. Live now: 3 or more Orbit cars in the last 12 minutes, so Orbit draws it. Rush hour: on a typical weekday 4–6 PM, enough Orbit cars to keep 3 on each road every 12 minutes. A metro can leave TomTom's traffic when its rush hour reaches 80%.

Trip times: Orbit's own vs TomTom vs the real drive
Every drive that went straight to its destination: how far off each estimate was (the typical miss, either way), last 60 days. Orbit shows TomTom's times until its own is as close; "early" means it said the drive would be shorter than it was. Orbit's own needs the phone's road data where the drive was.

Launch email
The one email the launch list was promised, sent only when you press Send. People who earned a free month of Orbit Pro (launch list referrals) get their own App Store code in it. On launch day: create the one-time codes in App Store Connect (Orbit Pro Monthly › Offer Codes › Launch referral free month), paste them here, send yourself a test, then Send.

Search quality
How well Where To finds what drivers want, measured the way Apple measures its search: how often something is picked, how often it's the first row, and how many letters it took. Anonymous totals only (never who, never where exactly). Prominence: places Orbit drivers picked, drove to or rated, which search ranks a little nearer.

Beta tester applications
From www.orbitsi.app/beta. New testers come in automatically at 9 AM (Detroit) on each onboarding day, a few at a time, in the order they applied: added to TestFlight's Beta testers group and sent the welcome email. Anyone who applies on an onboarding day waits for the next one. Onboard next moves someone to the front of the line. Invite now skips the wait (add them in TestFlight yourself). Deleted 6 months after they apply.
Goes to support@orbitsi.app only.
Only testers who agreed to the Alpha Tester Agreement are onboarded automatically. "Ask everyone" emails each one who hasn't agreed, once.

Orbit on the website
What people ask Orbit in the chat on www.orbitsi.app, and what Orbit said. Questions Orbit sent to the contact form are the ones to add to the help guide. Emails and phone numbers are blanked out before saving. Trying to trick Orbit gets a warning, then a 7-day chat ban; something severe bans for 30 days (chat only, by connection). Kept 90 days.

Speed limits
Orbit’s own speed limits (TomTom no longer shows them): OpenStreetMap first, then Michigan DOT’s posted limits on state highways, then Michigan’s limit for an unposted road (25 on city and village residential streets; the rest stay hidden until checks prove them), and drivers’ answers (5 drivers agreeing). Each day a few roads are checked against TomTom and every source is graded (only the grade is kept).

Alerts
Checked every 15 minutes and emailed to support@orbitsi.app. Each paid service is judged per driver (the website's services per visitor), against the usual over the last 14 days, so growing doesn't set it off: 200 drivers using 5,000 drivers' worth does. Also: your spending limits, one account using far more than a normal person, bursts of new accounts, wrong admin keys, the database and the map server, and important changes the moment they happen. Nothing is ever switched off.

Load & strain
How hard Orbit's two clouds are working, and how many drivers each limit leaves room for, so a move to something bigger happens before anything fails. Green under half the limit, amber past half (plan the move), red past 80% (move now). Supabase is sampled every 5 minutes; Cloudflare's numbers are its own. "Room for" divides the limit by what one daily driver uses now, so it firms up past about 50 drivers a day.

Who signed in, and what changed
You are the only admin, so anything here that wasn’t you is someone else: tell Claude to change the admin key at once. Every sign-in (marked when it’s from an address that never signed in before), code email and change made from admin is kept for a year. Addresses are one-way codes, never the address itself; this browser’s is .
Refused tries, last 7 days
Real guesses are a wrong admin key or emailed code. Noise is a page left open after its sign-in ran out, still knocking. 10 refused in 15 minutes locks an address out for 15 minutes; 40 guesses in a day, for a day.

Where signal drops
Where Orbit's drivers had weak or no signal, from anonymous ~1 km squares (weak: the phone said connected but a tiny request took 0.7 s or more, about one bar). Colour only where signal was weak or lost: a soft glow far out that deepens as more drives agree, the squares themselves close in. Clear means strong signal, or no one has driven there yet (turn on "Where drivers have been" to tell them apart).

Pro
Subscribers, and free drivers per subscriber, show here once Pro launches. The cost plan needs about 30–50 subscribers to cover the fixed monthly costs.
What Orbit got wrong
Anonymous notes from drivers who agreed to help. A fix goes live by itself once 3 different drivers make the same correction; anything about reports or safety waits here for you.
